RefWorks: Getting Started

Register for an account:

1. Connect to RefWorks via this link provided by the SFU Library.
2. Click on Sign up for an individual account and fill in the required fields.
3. You will receive a confirmation email with your user name and password details. Please keep in a safe place.

Get references into your account:

• From article indexes and databases:
• • Direct export
  • Import references from a text file
  • Search PubMed and library catalogues from within RefWorks
• From the SFU library catalogue
• Add references manually

• From other bibliographic and citation management software:
  • To and from EndNote, Reference Manager and ProCite
  • From RefWorks into your Citation Manager account
