HelpDocs: Tables, Figures, Images

In a thesis, tables and figures are a means by which authors may present their data.

Avoid using landscaping pages/sections in your document.

  • Create your landscaped tables in another file (see Landscaped Tables template), then convert to a high-quality PDF, a high-quality JPG, crop and rotate, and insert the image(s) below the caption in your thesis.
    |(Table titles are not included in/with the table.)
  • Use high-quality JPGs (min 300dpi), crop and rotate, and insert the image(s) below the caption in your thesis.
(Figure/Image titles are not included in/with the figure/image.)
  • See the Images page and workshop handout for more information.
