- Gateway to Scientific Data (NRC-CISTI): Canadian environmental data from research projects. Categories for the data sets available include forestry, water quantity, marine sciences, agriculture, and more.
- EarthTrends from the World Resources Institute: Global, regional and country level environmental, social and economic information
- Atlas of global development: A visual guide to the world's greatest challenges. G 1046 G1 W671 2007
- Replaces earlier publication: World Bank Atlas (1967-2004 in print: G 1046 G1 W67 and 2004 edition online). Note that much of the data in this atlas is from the World Development Indicators (below).
