Ask a Librarian by Email

"Ask a Librarian" is a library service offering reference assistance via e-mail to the SFU community.

As some services are restricted to SFU students, faculty and staff, we may be limited in the form of assistance we can provide to those outside the SFU community.

Feel free to ask any question not answered on the Frequently Asked Questions page.

More complex questions may need to be negotiated in person at the library, but we can provide you with initial suggestions to begin your research. You may also contact one of the Liaison Librarians directly.

Messages will be read several times a day, Monday through Saturday, and responses will be sent within one working day to your personal e-mail address. If you require immediate reference assistance, please come into an SFU Library or phone 778.782.5735 (Bennett Library) or 604.291.5051 (Belzberg Library) or 778.782.7411 (Surrey).
