How can Departments and students print their theses and, also, get bound copies of their (SFU) theses?
The SFU Library binds copies of theses for the library's use only.
The Library does not bind theses for departments or individual students.
Students and Departments should wait to bind their copies until after the thesis intake has been completed
(i.e., after you receive the automated message that your/the student's thesis has been submitted to/received by the Library).

Contact the SFSS Copy Centre
Departmental staff and students who wish to obtain bound copies of a thesis are advised to contact Nancy at the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS) Copy Centre.
- The SFSS Copy Centre prints and binds theses at reasonable rates for departments and students.
- Students who print their theses at the Copy Centre get a reduced rate on the binding of their theses.
- The Copy Centre has the specifications for binding theses, along with a printer that can detect colour pages--so they charge BW and only colour for pages that have colour on them.
Students: Each department has their own way of handling theses. Contact your department to see what funds and resources are available to you and/or what is required of you regarding the bound copies of your thesis.
Arrange pickup with your department or the Copy Centre
Please arrange for pick-up of bound copies of your thesis (for either yourself or your department) with either your department or the Copy Centre. The SFU Library is not responsible for department or student bound copies of theses.
