Can I highlight text and add notes to my online books through ebrary?
Yes, you can highlight text and add notes to online books available through the ebrary electronic book collection.
To do so, you must log in to your ebrary account. If you do not yet have an account, you can create one here or under the ebrary site's 'Sign In' link. For instructions on how to access ebrary materials and the general ebrary site, click here.
Ebrary has two readers: the QuickView Reader and the Unity Reader. The readers allow you to view and interact with documents in the ebrary collection. The QuickView Reader runs within your web browser and doesn't require installation. The Unity Reader supports text-to-speech and other accessibility features and does require installation.
This FAQ addresses how to add/remove highlighting and notes from your ebrary electronic book using the QuickView reader. For assistance with ebrary's Unity Reader, please Ask a Librarian.
