Can I print double-sided copies on the printers?
Printing can be done double sided at any of the Library's public printers. You must set the double sided print option before you send your print job to the queue.
The procedures for selecting double sided printing may differ slightly but for Office documents (Word, excel, PowerPoint):
- Click the Office button in the top left.
- Mouse over "Print" and select "Print".
- Click on "Properties" and select the "Printing Shortcuts" tab.
- Select "Two-sided (duplex printing) and make sure the page size is letter and Print on Both Sides says, "Yes - Flip Over".
- Click Ok.
And for printing webpages:
- Select File and then Print.
- Click on "Properties" and select the "Printing Shortcuts" tab.
- Select "Two-sided (duplex printing) and make sure the page size is letter and Print on Both Sides says, "Yes - Flip Over".
- Click Ok.
Note that there is a charge of 11 cents for each printed side of the paper. When printing web pages, there may be occasions when a blank page prints at the end of the print job depending on the length of the web page and, as a result, your card will be debited for the cost of the blank page.
