Are there group study rooms in the Library?

Burnaby Campus

In the WAC Bennett Library, there are two options for group study. On the East side of the 2nd floor, there is an open group study area, available on a drop-in basis.

There are also 13 group study rooms on the 2nd floor that may be booked online for use during the hours that the library is open. These rooms seat from 4 to 8 people and may be booked for a maximum of two hours per day per group. For technical reasons, alumni are not eligible to book these rooms.

Bookings may be checked at the workstations near the instruction lab or on any public workstation. Rooms not occupied within the first 10 minutes of a scheduled time or not reserved for use are available for anyone to use.

Surrey Campus

The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board Academic Library has 7 team rooms with tables and whiteboards, each seating 4-8 people. They can be booked online (select Library at the top left of the screen).

Vancouver Campus

There are 6 group study rooms at SFU Vancouver that can be booked online: 1 on the mezzanine level of Belzberg Library, 4 on the 3rd floor of the Harbour Centre building and 1 on the 7th floor of Harbour Centre.  Check here for further details on location, hours and policies.
