Borrowing Materials & Loans at Belzberg Library
Under the Library Loans Policy, there are two undergraduate loan periods for material in the general collection: items designated as high-use may be borrowed for three weeks; other items may be kept until the end of the semester, subject to recall.
Faculty and graduate students may borrow all general loan material for the semester, subject to recall.
Reference materials, non-circulating items, periodicals and newspapers are for use in the library only.
Books and journal articles from the main WAC Bennett Library can be sent to Belzberg for faculty and students downtown, usually within two days.
Except for reserve books and special loans, items borrowed may be returned at any SFU library. The after-hours book return at Harbour Centre is accessible only during campus hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
For items not at SFU, Interlibrary loan is available.
