Q. Another thing about the "study floor" since the taking down of the wooden cubicle things, the study floor has become extremely loud. People chat with their friends, laugh at funny youtube videos together - at full volume, and
this makes it very difficult to work. Are the wooden cubicles coming back anytime soon? The study floor is about the same feel as the 3rd floor computer area, and I'm commuting and if I need a computer it sucks that there's nowhere quiet to work anymore.

Q. Hi there,
I was wondering if there are ebooks that we can borrow and download for 21 days to our kindles and other ereading devices like most public libraries offer. I basically consume all of my books in this format and I know that more and more people are turning to this book format everyday. I enjoy the selection of ebooks the library has but I do not think I have seen any that you can actually download to your mobile device. It would be really convenient to add that to the library services if it is not available yet. Thanks!

Q. Half of the computers the headphone jack is broken on. Today I had to test out 5 computers to find one which I can plug my headphones into. This was on the study floor, and forced me to disrupt the students around me.

A. Library Systems has investigated the issue, it seems the Headphone Jacks are not physically damaged. We believe the problem to be related to the master volume control on the PCs. For you convenience I have included the instructions below.
