The Community Scholars Program is accepting applications from individuals working in non-profits and charities throughout British Columbia. With 500 spaces available in 2017, up to five employees from the same organization may apply.
Qualifying scholars will
- Work at a registered non-profit or charitable organization in British Columbia
- Recognize the benefits of access to published research, analysis, publications on research methods, and/or reference works in their areas of work
- Agree to the Library's Terms of Access (indicated in application form)
Step 1: Submit your application
Apply now. This will take less than 10 minutes. You will be asked for your organization's address, and Charity/BC Society Registry number, and to agree to the Library's terms of access. You will also be asked for some additional information about your organization's work and your interest in this program.
Step 2: Get your credentials
Once we have processed your application and created your account, we will send you a welcome email with your log-in credentials and an introduction to the program.
Step 3: Access scholarly publications
The access portal will be launching in September 2017. You will receive instructions for getting started and will be able to access scholarly publications to help with your work.
