The Graduate Research Commons supports the research endeavours of the University community, with particular focus on graduate students as scholars and researchers, and provides easy access to both physical and virtual research resources.

The Library has identified space on the seventh floor to create a Graduate Research Commons, including private study and team collaboration areas for graduate students.  Preparations began in Fall 2013 and target completion is Summer 2014.

Other local institutions, namely University of Washington and University of British Columbia, have already opened or are currently building Research Commons facilities.
